With the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Youth Term Life Plan, you can guarantee an entire lifetime of protection for the special children in your life. The Plan makes a thoughtful gift for a holiday, birthday, graduation or other special occasion in a child's life.

Protect all the children in your family
Your children and grandchildren age 15 days to 20 years old qualify for Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Youth Life protection as long as the child's parent or guardian authorizes the Enrollment Form.

Inexpensive price
For each child, you pay just a one-time premium of only $75 for the $2,000.00 Youth Life Benefit, $150 for the $5,000.00 Youth Benefit, or $300 for the $10,000.00 Youth Life Benefit, It's your choice.

Protection that grows as they grow
Every birthday makes this coverage more valuable. Face value begins modestly at $1,000.00, $2,500.00, or $5,000.00 depending on what benefit you choose. After that, the face amount increases every year. The Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Youth Life protection keeps growing until age 21 when your children are protected for $2,000.00, $5000.00 or $10,000.00. Guaranteed lifetime protection as adults
Today, many young Americans who reach adulthood cannot get life insurance because of an illness or injury they had as children or because of conditions in their work environment. Others must pay higher premiums to get the life protection they need to protect their family.

Through the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Youth Life Plan, you can help build a foundation for your children's and grandchildren's future. At age 23, your children will be given the guaranteed option to change their Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Youth Life protection to $10,000.00 or $20,000.00* of permanent life insurance with cash values. Additional premiums will be charged to continue coverage under the permanent life policy.

*$20,000.00 conversion privilege available only with $5,000.00 and $10,000.00 Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Youth Life Plans.

When your gift begins
Your children's or grandchildren's protection in the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Youth Life Plan will begin on the first day of the month following acceptance of the Enrollment Form by Hartford Life Insurance Company and the payment of the required premium. Hartford Life Insurance Company reserves the right to accept or reject this enrollment form in accordance with its underwriting standards. Once your child's protection is approved, you will receive a Certificate of Insurance and be billed for premium due.

In the case of material misrepresentation on the Enrollment Form or suicide during the first two years of coverage, no benefits will be paid, and all premiums will be refunded.

The benefits and rates for this group policy are guaranteed for 31 days. After that date, benefits may be changed for all persons covered by this Plan. You cannot be singled out for a change in benefits and we will notify you in advance in writing of any change.

Residents of Texas must be covered under an Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Life plan to request protection in the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Youth Plan for their children or grandchildren.

This explains the general purposes of the insurance described, but in no way changes or affects the policy as actually issued. In the event of a discrepancy between this information and the contract, the terms of the contract apply. Complete details are in the Certificate of Insurance issued to the insured individual.

Acceptance into this plan is subject to medical evidence of insurability as determined by The Hartford. Depending on your age, the amount of coverage you request, and your answers on the application, a medical examination, medical test(s), or other evidence of good health may be required. Any exams/tests requested by the company will be conducted at your convenience and at no expense to you.
